Bérangère Noyau

Ceramicist, Samois-sur-Seine, France
  • Handcrafted in France. In a celebration of craftsmanship and manufactoring traditions, we tour each French region to bring you our curated selection of exceptional homeware, gifts and collectibles.

  • Ateliers d’Art de France unites over 6,000 French artisans, selected using three criteria: 1. All pieces handcrafted in an atelier in France. 2. Technical mastery of a specific savoir-faire. 3. Creativity and quality of the pieces.

The home is a reflection of the self.
Bérangère Noyau’s signature collection of porcelain and stoneware find their source and their center in the home.

Her original decorative houses in black stoneware and brightened up with red and white slip, evoke cozy interiors and ties to the earth, but at the same time spark one’s curiosity to explore unknown lands. The contrasting surfaces—smooth, white porcelain or coarse, black stoneware—are an invitation to reach out and touch them.

Bérangère’s atelier is located in Samois, a village along the Seine near Fontainebleau, but she often travels throughout France and across Europe to take part in prestigious events such as Art in Clay in Hatfield, UK, the International Ceramic Market in Andenne, Belgium, or Maison&Objet in Paris.
