Uniquely made to order?
Estimated production time: 6 to 8 weeks.
Originally an architect, Bénédicte turns basket weaving inside out. Instead of the traditional willow branch core for basket making, she uses thin strips of the outer bark. This rich and sophisticated material is complimented with smooth, undyed leather tanned using a traditional process that avoids harmful chemicals.
The lightweight metal framework provides support for an extremely fine éclisses sur champ weaving technique.
Choice of colors for the inside lining.
