Fauteuil Jean
Barnabé Richard
This sleek French walnut armchair was designed and created by Barnabé Richard as part of the Jean Collection. Barnabé pays tribute to Jean Prouvé, one of the most influential furniture designers of the early modern design movement. Like the name Jean (French for “John”), the Fauteuil is no nonsense. No line is superfluous. This armchair is bold and determined, unflinching. Custom options available. Read more

Product details
The design of the Fauteuil is decidedly modern. The open sides and back draw attention to the armchair’s pure, refined lines. The cool dark French walnut wood contrasts beautifully with the textured natural linen upholstery suspended between trapezoidal arches. The seat itself finds a subtle echo in the light arm rests. The seat back, two independent wooden panes, appear delicately poised on a thin metal plate.
