Product details
The thinness of the bowl can only be achieved using the technique of coiling. Built up from the bottom by integrating rolled ropes of clay one at a time, the bowl slowly takes shape. The lovely uneven rim gives this handmade bowl its unique character. Patricia creates the beautifully rich, earthy texture of her pieces with her own mixture of ash, ocher and cobalt oxides which she blows onto the surface before firing.
