For inspiration, Valérie need only step outside her door. Her atelier is located in Concarneau, a bustling fishing port on the southern coast of Brittany, where the peninsula juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. In a few strokes, she brings us to the seaside with mackerel heads, kelp fronds or coral branches in a palette of bright and gay colors.
