Delicate dotted lines are pressed in uneven vertical lines up the side of the teapot and on the cover, creating an enigmatic and pleasing motif. Patricia creates the beautifully rich, earthy texture of her pieces with her own mixture of ash, ocher and cobalt oxides which she blows onto the surface before firing.
