Product details
Built to withstand any kind of weather: rain, sun, ice, snow or wind. The awning over the opening prevents water from going inside, and the small drain hole at the bottom lets water escape.
Jean-Marc prepares liquid porcelain, called slip, that he pours into the plaster mold he has created himself. The plaster draws the water from the liquid, leaving a hard, thin layer of porcelain. He then removes the excess porcelain and sets the mold aside to dry. The porcelain is then taken out of the mold and fired at 2336°F / 1280°C. The ceramic object is then enameled before the second firing.
